Both products are capable of up to 30 frames per second high speed continuous shooting in RAW burst mode (and 20fps in jpeg), allowing users to capture fast-moving subjects and never miss a moment. Perfect for keeping foreground subject in focus for landscape shots, the cameras’ enhanced focus bracketing feature also takes images with focus precision.
The PowerShot G5 X Mark II and PowerShot G7 X Mark III both records in 4k 25p/30p with no crop which lets users take full advantage of lenses to shoot grand landscape videos in stunning definition. With 4K movies recorded in motion JPEG, frame grabs are possible, allowing users to review footage and at any given point, extract a moment from the video and save it as a high-quality 8MP JPEG on the camera.
Perfect for vloggers, the PowerShot G7 X Mark III is also equipped with a livestreaming function, which supports Full HD video streaming from the camera to YouTube. Both cameras are packed with connectivity features such as USB charging, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to effortlessly connect with compatible smart devices with one single tap.
Pair either one with the Canon Tripod Grip HG-100TBR for a sturdy and comfortable hold of the camera for more creative video recording possibilities.
