The imageRUNNER 1643i/iF: Proudly Pinoy with World-Class Qualities
The imageRUNNER 1643i/iF (iR 1643i/iF) made its debut in the Philippines last October 2019. It succeeds the imageRUNNER 1435/iF in all ways, such as an improved exterior, and addition of 1PDS, uniFLOW Online Express and Application Library as a standard feature to name a few. It emanates Pinoy pride for it is locally manufactured at Canon Business Machines (Philippines), Inc. in Tanuan, Batangas. It is manufactured by Filipinos for export quality distribution.
The iRA 1643i/iF is a subtle beast of its own kind—dressed up in white for that modernized look, and featuring a 5” touch screen panel to make your printing more convenient. Don’t be fooled by its compact size. This machine is capable of printing up to 2,000 copies in a month. Its standard paper input capacity is 550 sheets, but it can be increased to 2,300 sheets with the addition of 3 cassette trays. Users with variety of print-out requirements can load different paper types into each cassette tray, eliminating the need to change or replace the paper every after usage.
One of the feature highlights of the iRA 1643i/iF is the single-pass duplex scanning, which now comes standard with the device. The single-pass scanning increases the scan speed to a maximum of 70ipm for duplex mono prints. It can also support a wider range of originals during scanning and copying operations.
Designed with every business need in mind, the iRA 1643i/iF comes with an Application Library, a built-in application that offers a one-touch solution to its users. Save time by automating routine tasks, or executing various tasks with a single press for better work efficiency. Sample routine tasks made easy by the iRA 1643i/iF are copying of back-to-back ID cards, printing order forms on demand, sending documents to a preset destination, checking the machine’s consumable information and showcasing a standby slide. All these in just a press of a button. Users have the flexibility to customize the applications they want to see in your home screen, complimenting their daily printing needs.
On top of these, the iRA 1643i/iF is also equipped with uniFLOW Online Express (uOE). There is no server investment needed, since this is a free, cloud-based print management solution that comes with the device. Activating the uOE feature of the device allows its user to upgrade their security and print management. It features an authentication function, which allows the user to access the machine through pin or card authentication. This prevents unauthorized usage of the machine. UniFlow Online Express also has a reporting feature to help its users manage their device. Through the uOE, the user can automatically generate a print, copy, scan and fax usage report/analytics, helping them manage and optimize their machine usage.
The imageRUNNER 1643i/iF is now available for ordering, and retails at PHP 47,000 and PHP 99,900 respectively.
