    Firmware Version 1.0.6.1.00 incorporates the following enhancements:
    1. Added [CrispImg2] to Custom Picture.
    Daytime scenes produce clear images and nighttime scenes reduce noise.
    Even when shooting in infrared, the white balance is controlled to improve color reproducibility.
    2. The slow shutter speed can be selected when the Auto Slow Shutter is turned on. For nighttime scenes, noise can be suppressed by selecting a slow shutter speed.

    Preparations for the Firmware Update:
    1. Downloaded compressed files (dmg files) are automatically decompressed into a firmware folder. If it does not, double-click the downloaded file.
    2. For further instructions, refer to Firmware Update Manual(ME20F-SH Firmware Update Procedure_EN.pdf) in the decompressed folder.


    History:
    Firmware Version 1.0.5.1.00 incorporates the following enhancements.
    1. Support for the color matrix function has been added.
    2. Support for the color correction function has been added.
    3. The following features are enabled for these lenses:
    For CN-E18-80mm T4.4 L IS KAS S or CN-E70-200mm T4.4 L IS KAS S when "NU Protocol" is selected:
    - Focus position control
    - Zoom position control
    Menu Pathway: [Other Functions] > [REMOTE B Term.] > [NU Protocol]
    *In some cases, the firmware of these lenses needs to be updated in order to enable the enhancements. Contact your Canon dealer for details.


    Changes in Firmware Version 1.0.4.1.00:
    1. Adds [Linear]* to the gamma curve setting:
    - [Custom Picture] > [Fine Tuning] > [Gamma] > [Linear]
    *Does not apply a gamma curve. Creates a linear relationship between the luminance input and output.
    2. The following features are enabled for the CN-E70-200mm T4.4 L IS KAS S:
    - Displaying the model name of the lens when attached.
    - Support for Peripheral illumination correction.
    - Manual control of the iris with camera's joystick.
    - Control of focus, zoom and iris using the separately-sold Remote Controller RC-V100.
    - Support for One shot autofocus.
    - Automatic aperture and push auto iris functions.
    - Start/stop recording on the separately-sold lens grip ZSG-C10.
    3. Adds Peripheral Illumination Correction for the following lenses:
    - EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM
    - EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM
    - EF-S 35mm f/2.8 Macro IS STM
    - EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM
    4. Adds [NU protocol] to the other functions setting:
    - [Other Functions] > [REMOTE B Term.] > [NU Protocol]
    5. When the camera is turned off the IS mechanical lock will be active regardless of the position of the switch.


    Changes in Firmware Version 1.0.3.1.00:
    1. Three camera modes have been added:
    - Tv: Shutter speed is selectable. Iris, Gain and ND Filter* are set automatically.
    - Av: Iris is selectable. Shutter speed, Gain and ND Filter* are set automatically.
    - AGC: Shutter speed and Iris are selectable. Gain and ND Filter* are set automatically.
    *ND Filter can alsobe set manually.
    2. The following features are enabled for the CN-E18-80mm and T4.4 L IS KAS S:
    - Saving and displaying metadata, such as the model name and the focal distance of the lens when attached.
    - Support for Peripheral Illumination Correction.
    - Manual Iris control via the camera's joystick.
    - Control of focus, zoom and iris using the separately-sold Remote Controller RC-V100.
    - One shot autofocus.
    - Automatic aperture and push auto iris functions.
    - Operation of REC start/stop by the separately-sold ZSG-C10.
    3. Adds Peripheral Illumination Correction for the following lenses:
    - EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM
    - EF 35mm f/1.4L II USM
    - EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM
    4. Adds chroma-key correction function.
    5. Adds three white balance modes when the camera is set to Auto: custom White Balance Set, Preset and Color temperature.
    6. Adds 25PsF on output format.
    7. Adds [59.94P(i)]* and [50.00P(i)]* output setting for Monitor terminal.
    • When the frame rate is set to 59.94P (NTSC) or 50.00P (PAL), the 3G/HD-SDI 1 / MONITOR terminal can be set to output interlaced signal.
    * When using this setting 3G/HD-SDI 2 will output progressive signal.


    Changes in Firmware Version 1.0.2.1.00:
    1. Adds a function to turn off the onscreen display information automatically during recording.
    2. Adds 3x magnification to the digital tele-converter.
    3. Adds aspect marker options.
    - Aspect ratio can be selected from 4:3, 4:3 (S35mm), 1.66:1, 1.85:1 and 2.39:1
    4. Adds an auto slow shutter ON/OFF function.
    - When set to [OFF] and the camera is set to [Auto] mode, the shutter speed will not drop below the set frame rate.


    Changes in Firmware Version 1.0.1.1.00:
    Corrects a phenomenon in which after long hours of consecutive power conduction, the power of the camera cannot be turned off from the main power switch or the camera cannot be initialized from the menu. (After the power source is detached and attached, camera operations are restored.)
