Solution
Record a series of short scenes and combine them with music to add a new level of enjoyment to your movies.
1.Press <
> to turn on the camcorder in playback mode.
2.Press < VIDEO SNAP >.
The button's light illuminates.
An index screen appears that contains only the Video Snapshot scenes.
3.Set the background music.

3-2.Select <
> [
], and press < SET >.
3-3.Select <
> a track*, and press < FUNC. >.
*Press < SET > to start/stop the track. Select [ OFF ] to set the original audio of the scenes.
3-4.Press < FUNC. >.
NOTE

/ Make sure the music files are in the same media (built-in memory or memory card) that contains the scenes.
- During playback, the selected background music will play instead of the scene's original audio.
4.Select a scene from which to start playback and press < START/STOP >.
There is no sound during fast playback.
CAUTION
Music files transferred to the memory may not be used without permission from the copyright holder, except for cases permitted under applicable laws, such as for personal use. Make sure to follow applicable laws when using music files.

/ : The music files comes pre-installed in the built-in memory.
- Windows users: For details, refer to the instruction manual (PDF file) of the supplied software Music Transfer Utility.
- Mac OS users: Refer to the folder structure of the built-in memory.
- To play back scenes recorded on the memory card, you will need to transfer the music tracks to the memory card in advance.
- Windows users: Use the supplied software Music Transfer Utility to transfer the music files on the supplied Instruction Manual/Music Data Disc CD-ROM to a memory card. For details, refer to the software's instruction manual (PDF file).
- Mac OS users: Use the Finder to transfer the music files on the supplied Instruction Manual/Music Data Disc CD-ROM to a memory card.
The music files are saved in the memory under the following folder structure.
NOTE
- Video Snapshot is deactivated if the camcorder is switched to playback mode.
- When the memory is initialized, music files will also be erased.

/ The Instruction Manual/Music Data Disc CD-ROM contains the tracks pre-installed in the built-in memory as well as tracks that were not. You can change the tracks in the memory and try out new combinations.
- Before transferring music files, we recommend making sure that there is enough available space in the memory (about 5 times more than the size of the music files). If there is not enough available space, the video and audio may not play back correctly.
- If the connection is interrupted while transferring music files, playback of those files may not be possible. In such case, erase those music files and transfer the files again.
