Canon Launches imagePROGRAF TX Series: Faster Large-Format Printing,
Neater Output
Canon today launched five new imagePROGRAF TX Series large-format solutions, built for high-volume printing in architecture, engineering, construction, design and manufacturing. Fast, organised and precise, the lineup keeps busy print environments running smoothly.
The range includes two printers (TX-5430 and TX-5330) and three multifunction printers (MFPs) (TX-5431, TX-5331 and TX-5130). Each MFP is paired with a separate large-format colour scanner from Global Scanning.
• Sharper drawings: A newly developed matte black ink delivers finer lines and clearer small text in high-resolution technical drawings, across the entire range.
• Neater output: The TX-5431, TX-5430, TX-5331 and TX-5330 feature a new basket that stacks drawings up to A0 in print order, so there is no manual sorting or alignment.
• Faster, simpler printing: The same four models print up to 3.3 sheets per minute on A1 landscape plain paper. Smart Roll Paper Set detects paper type and estimates remaining roll length, and automatic roll feeding speeds up setup. With the optional roll unit, dual roll feed keeps jobs running across two rolls of the same media or different sizes and types.
• Smarter scanning: The three MFPs add a 15.6-inch touchscreen to preview scans and adjust settings such as skew correction on screen. The scanner works independently of the printer, so you can scan while a print or copy job is running.
