    Software for developing, playing back, and exporting the RAW clips captured with Canon's digital cinema cameras.

    Update History

    Changes for Cinema RAW Development 2.3.1 for macOS :

    - Fixes the phenomenon in which the developed results may not be correct in some cases for clips captured in Cinema RAW Light (CRM) on EOS C200 or EOS C200B with ISO of 100 to 800 and gain of -6.0dB to +12.0dB.
    *Please note that when you update to Ver.2.3.1, the brightness may change depending on the clip.

    System requirements

    Required System Configuration:

    To use this software, your computer has to meet the following system requirements.

    1. Supported OS
    OS X 10.11, macOS 10.12, macOS 10.13
    *Can also be used on macOS 10.14.

    2. Supported computers
    A Mac computer supporting the OS above.

    GPU
    A GPU that supports CUDA (Compute Capability 2.0 or higher), manufactured by NVIDIA
    or
    one of the following GPU's made by AMD that is installed in a Mac:
    - iMac Mid2010 or later (excluding 21.5 inch 3.06GHz)
    - iMac Pro (2017) or later
    - MacBook Pro Early2011 or later (excluding 15.4 inch 2.0/2.2GHz)
    - Mac Pro Mid2010 or later
    The processing performance should be lower on a computer that has no supporting GPU.

    RAM
    - 4 GB or more

    SDI Device (required for checking the SDI output on a monitor)
    - AJA: KONA 3G, Io 4K (Driver v14.0.1)
    - Blackmagic Design: UltraStudio 4K (Driver v10.9.11)
    There are restrictions to monitors that can be connected and output frame rates.

    In order to preview 4.5K or lower RMF clips at 24fps, we recommend the following system specifications in addition to the necessary system requirements listed above.

    NVIDIA Quadro K5000 for Mac x 2 pcs.

    RAM
    - 16 GB or more

    - Read 400 MB/s or above
    It is recommended that the drive to which [RAW CLIPS] are saved and the drive to which [Full-quality Files] and [Proxy Files] are saved are on different devices.

    In order to preview EOS C200, EOS C200B CRM clips at 24fps, we recommend the following system specifications in addition to the necessary system requirements above.

    - 32 GB or more

    Storage
    - Read 200 MB/s or above
    It is recommended that the drive to which [RAW CLIPS] are saved and the drive to which [Full-quality Files] and [Proxy Files] are saved are on different devices.

    In order to preview EOS C700 FF, EOS C700 FF PL 5.9K RMF clips at 24fps, we recommend the following system specifications in addition to the necessary system requirements above.

    - AMD FirePro D700 x 2 pcs.

    RAM
    - 32 GB or more

    Storage
    - Read 700 MB/s or above (EOS C700 FF, EOS C700 FF PL 5.9K RMF)

    Caution

    - Please check your GPU/SDI board whether it is compatible when you use with macOS 10.13.

    - The Cinema RAW Development 2.3.1 (CRDInstaller) file, Read_me_first_2_3.pdf and Install-Cinema RAW Development.pdf are included in the downloaded file.
    Please read through the Read_me_first_2_3.pdf cautions and limitations before installing Cinema RAW Development 2.3.1.

    Setup instruction

    Please refer to the instructions below on how to download and install the software.
    Exit all other applications when installing this software.

    1. Download "crdm-2-3-1-10-9l.dmg.gz" from the download page.

    2. Double-click "crdm-2-3-1-10-9l.dmg.gz". After decompressing the file, "crdm-2-3-1-10-9l.dmg" will be created.

    3. Double-click "crdm-2-3-1-10-9l.dmg". The disk image "crdm231" will be mounted.

    4. Double-click the installer, "CRDInstaller" in "crdm231".

    5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
