When printing dates on images, unexpected dates are printed
When you print a date on an image by direct printing, the date used in the date imprint is not the date that the image is printed, but the date it was taken.
The date used in the date imprint is the date the shot was taken with the camera. Therefore, if the date setting of the camera is incorrect, the date imprint will also be incorrect. For example, if you shoot images on July 1 but the camera is set to July 2, the date imprint will be July 2.
If the image data does not contain date information, the [Modified] date of the image data is used for the date imprint.
