Solution
Please prevent any foreign particles from entering in between the battery and the battery pack's terminal because it may cause a contact failure, short circuit, and/or damage.
If the remaining battery time displayed is not correct, charge the battery pack fully. Still, the correct time may not be displayed if a fully charged battery pack is used continuously in high temperatures or it is left unused for long periods of time. Also, the correct remaining time may not be displayed, depending on the battery life. Use the time shown on the screen as an approximation.
Tips on how to prolong battery time.
The battery pack lasts longer if you turn off the power frequently, and use the camcorder under temperatures between 10 deg C and 30 deg C. When the battery cools down in places like skiing sites, the battery time becomes temporarily shortened. Therefore, to prolong battery time, you may put the camcorder in a pocket to warm it up before use.
