Solution
This section explains how to transfer images to a memory card using a card reader.
IMPORTANT
- To perform this operation, [ImageBrowser 6.x] needs to be installed or updated beforehand.
- In this section, Mac OS X 10.6 and [ImageBrowser ver6.6] are used as examples to explain the operations. The content displayed on the screen or the operations may differ for Mac OS X versions older than Mac OS X 10.5.
- If your computer has a built-in memory card reader, please refer to the instruction manual of your computer.
- For details on how to connect a memory card reader to a computer, please refer to the instruction manual of the memory card reader.
- Depending on the type of your computer or memory card reader, screen indications and operation procedures may vary slightly.
1. Insert a memory card into the memory card reader.
2. Click the [ImageBrowser] icon in [Dock] (the task bar that is displayed at the bottom of the desktop).
If you do not see the [ImageBrowser] icon in [Dock], click [Go] in the menu bar, select [Applications] -> [Canon Utilities] -> [ImageBrowser], and then click [ImageBrowser] to start the software.
3. [ImageBrowser] starts, and the following window appears.
From the browser area, select the images you want to transfer to the memory card.
4. From the [File] menu, select [Rewrite Image to Memory Card].
5. The following window appears.
Select the memory card to which you want to transfer the images.
Click [OK].
6. The following window appears.
Check the details, and then click [Transfer].
7. The following window appears, and the images are being transferred.
8. After the images are transferred, the following window appears.
