Solution
Use this procedure if you need to change the telephone line setting. If you are unsure which setting to use, contact your local telephone company.
1. Press [Menu].
2. Press [Left cursor] or [Right cursor] to select [4.FAX SETTINGS], then press [Set] ([OK]).
3. Press [Left cursor] or [Right cursor] to select [2.TEL LINE TYPE], then press [Set] ([OK]).
4. Press [Left cursor] or [Right cursor] to select the telephone line type, then press [Set] ([OK]).
You can select from the following:
- [TOUCH TONE] for tone dialing
- [ROTARY PULSE] for pulse dialing
5. Press [Stop/Reset] to return to standby mode.
