Solution
IMPORTANT
Operational requirements and restrictions are indicated at the end of this page. Be sure to read these items carefully in order to operate the printer correctly, and to avoid damage to the printer.
1. Display the Printer Status Window.
For details on methods for displaying the Printer Status Window, see "Displaying the Printer Status Window" in Related Information at the end of this page.
2. From the [Options] menu, select [Device Settings] -> [Assisting Print Settings].
3. Select the [Reduce Vertical Streaks on Outputs] check box.
IMPORTANT
a. If you changed the setting for [Reduce Vertical Streaks on Outputs], cycle the power of the printer to make the setting effective.
b. When the [Reduce Vertical Streaks on Outputs] check box is selected, [Special Settings 3] in [Special Print Mode] in the [Advanced Settings] dialog box is disabled.
NOTE
When the [Reduce Vertical Streaks on Outputs] check box is selected, print quality other than vertical streaks may deteriorate.
