    We regret to inform that the following issue has been confirmed for the Flash Speedlite EL-5. Our customer support measures are stated below.

    We are committed to taking steps needed to help ensure that our customers can use our products with confidence.

    Issue:
    For certain units of the product, the battery drains faster when the power is OFF.

    Even when a battery has been fully charged, it may deplete completely in approximately 2 days.

    Affected Product:
    Speedlite EL-5

    Units that exhibit number “0” in the fourth digit from the left of the serial number with this issue confirmed, are affected.  

    Support:
    Affected units will be inspected/repaired free of charge until September 30, 2026. Kindly note that any inspection/repair other than for the issue aboveare subject to applicable fees.
