Canon Philippines and NKTI Unite to Save Lives through Blood Donation Drive

Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc. (CMP) marked World Blood Donor Month with a company-wide Blood Donation Drive conducted in partnership with the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI), reinforcing its long-standing commitment to community health and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the Philippines.

Canon employees volunteered as blood donors, directly contributing to NKTI's blood bank and supporting patients who depend on timely transfusions for critical care. The activity, now in its second consecutive year, reflects the company's growing culture of employee volunteerism and its commitment to addressing real healthcare needs.

The drive is anchored in Canon's corporate philosophy of Kyosei, which calls for living and working together for the common good - a principle that the company actively translates into community action across the Philippines.

"Blood donation is one of the most direct and meaningful ways we can help save lives," said Anuj Aggarwal, President and CEO of Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc. "We are proud to see our employees consistently step forward with compassion and generosity. This is Kyosei in action."

Dr. Jose Dante Dator, Executive Director of NKTI, welcomed the continued collaboration: "We are deeply grateful to Canon Marketing Philippines for supporting our blood donation efforts again this year. Maintaining a stable blood supply depends on partnerships like this, and we hope it inspires more organizations to take part."

The 2026 Blood Donation Drive is part of Canon Philippines' broader CSR agenda, which spans employee volunteerism, healthcare advocacy, and community engagement. Canon continues to demonstrate that corporate purpose extends well beyond business, and that companies have a meaningful role to play in strengthening the communities they serve.
