Photomarathon 2026 Mechanics

 1. OTS contest period is on April 18, 2026, 9am – 1pm only. 

 2. A customer is entitled to join in one (1) category. Qualified to join: 

 a. OPEN CATEGORY – open to all digital camera users All Professional photographers, non-professional photographers 

 b. MAIN CATEGORY – open to Canon users only Submission of entries is on April 18, 2026 9am – 1pm at BGC Amphitheater. Participants must line up in designated submission area. 

 3. For registration, customers must be at the event area on April 18, 2025 and register at designated lanes. For submission of entries, customers must submit their entry at the submission lanes They must provide their memory card to the Canon marshal assigned in the lanes, select the photo and begin uploading to the Canon hard drive. 

 4. Criteria for Judging 

 40% - ADHERENCE TO THE THEME (related to theme) 

 35% - CREATIVITY AND STORYTELLING (visual and beauty at a glance and appreciation. Play of color / art elements) 

 25% - TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE (composition, lighting, focus, and execution) 

 100% - TOTAL 

 For the photo judging, all photos will be available for viewing on computers allocated for the judges. 

 5. Deadline of submission of entries is on April 18, 2026 1pm. 

 6. Determination of winners will be held at BGC Amphithear 7pm in the presence of a DTI representative on April 18, 2026. 

 7. Prizes are the following. PRIZES FOR MAIN PHOTO CONTEST FIRST PRIZE - EOS R6 III w RF24-105MM IS STM 1st Runner Up – PIXMA PRO310 2nd Runner Up - PIXMA G670 PRIZES FOR OPEN CATEGORY FIRST PRIZE - EOS R8 w 24-50MM 1st Runner Up – PIXMA 570 2nd Runner Up - SELPHY CP1500 

 8. Tax (including 20% withholding tax for prizes exceeding P10,000) and other expenses that will be incurred in relation to the prize shall be shouldered by Canon marketing Philippines. 

 9. Prizes are not convertible to cash. Prizes are in the form of products as support to the winners photography endeavor or business. 

 10. Winners will be announced on the day of the event at BGC Amphitheater. Winners will be notified through registered mail, sms, email, and social media posting. 

 11. Customer can only win once. Customer is only allowed to submit an entry. 

 12. Winners may claim their prize on April 18, 2026 7pm at BGC Amphitheater. 

 13. To claim the prize, winners must present 1 valid ID. 

 14. If claiming thru an authorized representative, present authorization letter and a copy of winner’s valid ID. 

 15. Prizes should be claimed within sixty (60) days from the receipt of registered notice or it will be forfeited in favor of Canon Marketing Philippines with prior approval of DTI. 

 16. Participants must be residents of the Philippines. Non-residents and foreign nationals are not eligible to join. 

 17. All employees of Canon Marketing Philippines, agency, and sponsors, and their relatives up to second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining this promo.
