Solution
Raise the [ISO speed] to use a fast shutter speed when you wish to reduce the effects of camera shake or avoid blurry subjects, or to turn the flash off when shooting in a dark area.
2. If [Easy Auto enabled] message is displayed, follow the instructions on the screen to disable Easy Auto.
If you prefer, you can deactivate this message by changing the Easy Auto settings. For details, refer to "Related information" section at the end of the page.
3. Press the [
] button to enter [ Program AE:
].
4. Press the [
] button.
5. Press the [
], [
] buttons to select [
], then press the [
] button.
6. Press the [
], [
] buttons to select an [ISO Speed] of your choice.
7. Press the [
] button to exit the setting.
The setting you selected will be displayed on the screen.
NOTE
- To view the automatically set ISO speed when the camera is set to [ ], press the shutter button halfway.
- Although choosing a lower ISO speed may reduce image graininess, there may be a greater risk of subject and camera shake in some shooting conditions.
- Choosing a higher ISO speed will increase shutter speed, which may reduce subject and camera shake and increase the flash range. However, shots may look grainy.
